Decision on multi-agent representation of the subjects for the microgrid optimal control

Multi-Agent approach is proposed for applications of real-time control and management of the microgrids. The multi-agent system (MAS) structure and content design are presented. MAS functionality is defined in order to optimize the real-time operation of a microgrid by optimally scheduling its distributed generation and managing demand and supply. Economic and environmental factors, as well as standardized electric power reliability indices are adopted as optimization criteria. Moreover, the paper also presents a model for evaluation of economic, technological and ecological efficiency of the interaction of elements of the proposed MAS based on an artificial neural network (ANN) model implementation.

Development of an algorithm to maintain the performance of the cyber-physical system by introducing an updated indicator of operational reliability

The problem of reliability analysis and recovery process of cyber-physical systems (CPS) is under consideration. The approach is based on the division of the life cycle into time slices with reference to the pre-emergency, emergency, restored and predicted states. Working capability restoration of the CPS is executed with respect to extremely critical and critical equipment. Constructed state graphs of the cybernetic component and the physical component are introduced and the differential equations linking the probability of return to a working state with intensities of failures and restorations of various types are formulated. Under the known initial conditions of the probabilities for corresponding states the solution of appropriate ordinary differential equations allows a clear graphical interpretation in the time domain, which shows the changes in the probability of the system components transition from one state to another by time slices of the life cycle of the CPS-system. The developed diagram of decision-making on restoration or replacement of the corresponding component provides to make the reasonable choice of the actions option aimed on working capability restoration. An algorithm for the method implementation is developed and tested via execution of the numerical example related with Automated Parking system as a typical representative of the CPS-systems variety.

Nonparametric criterion of Wilcoxon as an element of the procedure for the recognition of critical events

The problem of creating highly efficient algorithms for identifying critical events as part of decision support procedures in technological management is considered. The article proposes an approach to increasing the power of the nonparametric Wilcoxon criterion for decision making in situations with violations in compared data samples of the type "vertical displacement" and "scale". The modified Wilcoxon criterion is considered as a tool for identifying deviations in the conduct of the technological process, which do not exceed the threshold values, but have a significant impact on the technical and economic indicators. The proposed method of identifying critical events using the modified Wilcoxon criterion makes it possible to determine both the fact of the presence of an event and, in a number of cases, their identification. The article proves that the power of the proposed modified Wilcoxon test does not deteriorate compared to the traditional Wilcoxon test. The problem of detecting significant deviations in the accounting of electricity consumption at the boundary point of the grid company and the consumer from the parameters established by contract is reviewed as an example. Electric meters supposed to be the information sources in this case. The data received from smart meters is usually represented in the form of so-called “load profiles”. The performed numerical experiments through the example of processing the credentials for the power consumption of one of the petrochemical industrial enterprises allowed testing the possibility of using the modified Wilcoxon criterion as part of an effective element of the algorithm for detecting critical events. Also, the problematic issues of inclusion of this module in the automated decision support system for technological management are identified and the corresponding software is proposed.
