Business information systems

Author: E. SHumkov

The basic methods of constructing automated trading system (ATS) for the financial markets, including the modern type of ATS-based reinforcement learning, are described. A new topology of the ATS capable to analyze the technical characteristics of time series is proposed as well as fundamental analysis issues. The architecture of the proposed MTS allows for adaptation to the behavior of the market.

IT management

Project management

Author: A. Mosolov

Currently there are no methods for developing of general-purpose information and software tools and interfaces that provide integrating subsystems into united security system that meets the customer requirements. An automated CAD system development method is proposed that based on the object model serial transformations towards the conceptual and physical models of engineering and technical protection systems.

Automated control systems

The features of the Information Management (IM) and a classification of development levels, or IM maturity stages, are considered. The approach to assessing the level of IM is substantiated and proposed. A model and method of estimating the level of IM based on a multiobjective expert evaluation as well as a graphical interpretation of the method are proposed. Some illustrations are given.

The issues of information and analytical system (IAS) «Taxes of the Russian Federation» are considered. The user application providing automated transfer into IAS database being developed as well as its usage and actualization principles are described. An example of IAS analytical module using for the analysis of an economic condition of the Ural federal district is given.

Decision support systems

Author: V. Vilisov

The paper proposed and investigated an algorithm for solving the inverse transport problem (TP), which allows accumulating the positive decision making experience in situations that can be represented by transport models. On emerging situations and decisions adopted by the DM algorithm allows obtaining estimates of the elements of the generalized payoff matrix (PM) TP. With sufficient accuracy of the estimates the PM can be used in new situations for the optimal solutions corresponding to the preferences of decision-makers avoiding his participation.

IT and education

Educational environment

Author: N. Stefanova

Methodology for assessing the quality of the various internet marketing tools to attract and retain visitors to sites of universities is considered. Evaluation parameters have been selected and evaluation criteria is suggested. The sites of higher education institutions in Samara region are analyzed.

The features of the educational process under conditions of transition to three-tier training system are considered. The contradictions between the graduates expectations and labor market characteristics are stated. A version of an information system is suggested that allows the student-employer relationship establishing and correct competencies taking into account the real needs of the labor market.

Competitiveness of graduates

Web interface with elements of «artificial memory» such as Evernote and Springpad which are software tools with functions of collecting, presenting, storing, processing, analyzing and transmitting information can be an effective tool of educational process organization. Methodological approaches are proposed that affect the competitiveness of educational services provided by the university.

Software engineering

Algorithmic efficiency

The article examines the issue of developing models of the text input methods. The urgency of this matter is dictated by the reduction of financial costs of designing new input methods and upgrading existing ones. The article suggests a modeling method, which is verified by a series of experiments. Also the article gives recommendations on the use of the suggested modeling method.

Cutting-packing problems are usually formulated using two statements: optimal placement of definite size and form details and optimal trajectory of cutter moving for given placement of details on a plane. Both tasks are part of cutting process preprocessing. Normally these tasks are disconnected. But during cutting process projecting the sequential solving of these two problems is used. The paper is mostly aimed to solution of the second problem and its connection with the first one.

Information security

Models and methods

A research on «Developing and analysis the model of information relationships entities in a single information competitive space in order to ensure information security» is being conducted within the project supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. In this paper, which represents the first stage of the work, an overview of basic research in this area is given.

History of profession

Information theory

Author: V. Sedyakin

A classification of the information sciences is proposed. The problem of the definition of information in the scientific literature is considered, the main features of social information are described. Approaches to the L. Floridi’s problem solution as well as the methodological approach to the classification of computer science are proposed. The criteria of distinction used in the classification are defined.

Theoretical approach

Mathematical methods

The estimation’s problem for sagging of the overhead circuit with adherence to the specifications of the measurement’s precision keeping is devoted. The 3D laser scanning technology for the high-precision data obtainment is used. The robust estimation’s methods for processing of the experimental data are used. Two types of sag curves models depending on the geophysical conditions are considered. The testing of the relative positions for overhead circuits to the requirements of «The rules of electrical facilities maintenance» is carried out.

Modern economies are characterized by high dimensionality which makes their modeling difficult even with the use of powerful computers. An effective method of solving this problem is the method of multilevel decomposition. The proposed technique allows accounting information and administrative communication between employees of the organization.
