IT business

Expert’s opinion

Author: B. Kumykov

In the modern world system analysis and as a consequence, data storage, are taking increasingly important role in the IT market. Companies that reach a certain level of development, regardless of scope, begin to feel the need to monitor their activities. While continuing to appear more and more convenient to implement and easy to manage systems for business intelligence. This article describes the most interesting and relevant ways to deploy a similar system in the enterprise.

IT management

Automated control systems

This paper deals with the issues of the automated systems historical data accumulation as well as data processing and analysis for scheduling and maintenance of the system. A method of collection of historical data, providing the possibility to store detailed information about all the changes of the stored information is suggested, the main advantages and disadvantages of this method are described. The authors provide some methods of processing and analyzing of the collected data applicable in different stages of a system development, as well as in the course of its operation and maintenance.

IT and education

Educational environment

The scientific work separation process has resulted in sharp intensification of information exchange, and has transformed scientific information activity into one of the major elements of scientific infrastructure. The system developed by authors is intended for information support of scientific activity at universities and research organizations.

E-learning

Author: EH. Soboleva

The expert projects to assess the quality of education are described. The types of organizations that implement them as well as examples of expert projects to assess the quality of education based on e-learning approach are given.

Software development technologies

Models and althorithms

Author: I. Bereznyak

In this paper proposed hypothetical software model designed to solve the task of optimal control of mobile robots. Feature of the proposed model is that the behavior of the generator can automatically find the mobile robot control law without the need to build a fully detailed representation of the environment. Because of this property, a behavior generator can operate mobile robot within undefined and unpredictable environments.

Author: E. Veremej

The paper presents general ideas and specific ways of optimization approach to construction of mathematical models of existing and planned information and control systems. The capabilities and features of optimization techniques as a tool for research and development in the area of information and computer technologies are marked.

Simulation

Theory and practice

An approach to optimal control for the process of the motor company fleet fuel conversion is suggested. A mathematical model and algorithm based on discrete stochastic programming methods are presented. The developed software tool was used to built conversion strategy for Orenburg area motor companies.

Actor modeling

Author: A. Emelyanov

In the abstract modeling of social, economic and competitive, political, military and legal processes and in other areas where there is some difficulty with the use of formal models, actors as well as the theory of actor networks are being used. Recently, the actor approach was applied by the author for developing a new paradigm of simulation, which is shown in this paper. Its implementation required the creation of a new system simulation, including the system structure analysis, simulation models prototyping and creation. The paper presents its concepts and features.

Laboratory

Decision support systems

In this article the technique of management tourist areas, based on the formation of tourist destinations, with the use of the cluster approach by mapping the taxonomy is described. The proposed method was tested on the Sochi tourist destination. Contents of the paper identify one of the possibilities of information technologies application in tourism.

Teacher’s portfolio

Mathematical models in economy

The gradual application of hierarchy analysis method for the evaluation tasks is described. The characteristic and mathematical algorithm method is presented. All calculations and features of the assessment are considered using a through example illustrating each step.

Theoretical approach

Mathematical methods

The current trend is now to make active use of automated tools of economic analysis overlooks not including actively developing the tourism business. Designing effective decision support tools in this area is not possible without the development of appropriate econometric models. The suggested procedure is designed to assess the market sustainability of tourism enterprises.

Algorithmic efficiency

The article deals with the problem of project management for the development of information and transport enterprise networks. A formalized statement of the problem is as well as modification of the algorithm based on the ant colony using fuzzy logic and fuzzy production rules to take account of the uncertainty of demand in different nodes are presented.

Author: A. Babaev

The article deals with the computational schemes for representing a set of elements of vector combinations, permutations, combinations and placement in the form of a single number based on the coding procedures. The procedures of code reverse conversion to the source combinations are presented. Recommendations on the use of the procedures are given.

Point of view

Information visualization

Author: V. Artyuhin

Modern graphic editors allow to create infographics quick and easily through the end result are sometimes suffers from perception point of view. The author of presented article pinpoint the fact that graphical representation must be developed for each different case, not just reused blindly. Graphics can be seen as an instrument and result of scientific research at the same time, thus the quality of the whole research is defined among else by quality of graphics. Author also offers an approach to development of a technique for statistical graphics assessment.
